As of Saturday 21 Feb 2015 you will be able to catch Dean Mackin LIVE across the 2SM Super Radio Network from 2pm until 5pm. Thanks to the tremendous support from both management and the listeners, after just 5 short months after initially filling in for Carter Edwards while he was away on tour Dean has already achieved a permanent shift on the 2SM network and so will be heard on more than 40 stations throughout NSW and South East Queensland

Hi Dean, question for your thoughts please; Malcolm Turnbull says an early election is needed because the current Senate will not pass important legislation. If he’s able to pull off an early election, with changes to Senate legislation parties ie no individuals etc, does this mean that the Senate is no longer the powerhouse to scrutinize the legislation from the house of reps on behalf of the people of Australia? The role of the Senate doesn’t change… nor does he have the power to change the ROLE of it himself without a referendum, but WHO would be eligible will change if he can get these new laws through. Whilst it SOUNDS good that the likes of Sarah Hanson Young would NOT have got in had those laws been in place AND that the likes of Ricky Muir would not have got in, the fact that Malcolm Turnbull WANTS this to me would suggest that Australia would be worse off but I am also of the belief that it could indeed BENEFIT parties such as One Nation and others who I am guess Turnbull is underestimating but time will tell.

dean have just listened to you all week absolutely the best radio announcer I’ve ever listened to you are so right in telling it how it is so sick of listening to soft sitting on the fence announcers or biast views put forward by a certain announcers who just try to talk down someone they don’t agree with would love to hear you in th 9 to 12 weekday slot you deserve it one afternoon a week isn’t enough keep up tour great show

The can already have children by adoption

I think if homosexual people who have children
Ii would make it a safer place for them.

The church has always
had the right to refuse to marry whom they choose.
