Big news, people! I’m back! Very much looking forward to doing a lot of radio over Christmas across the
. I will be doing 3 weeks Monday through Friday from midday til 6pm filling in for Brent Bultitude and the boys from Talking Sport while they all have a well deserved break over Chrissy! That starts Monday the 21st of December and I will also be doing Sunday 20/12/2020 from 8am. Super pleased to be working with Dave Cochrane, who’ll be doing mornings and to also announce the return of David Gubbay, a man for whom I have an enormous amount of respect and in some ways consider a bit of a mentor by example and also to welcome a good mate of mine, Rick Dunlop (formerly of 2TM, Tamworth) to the network as well. He will also be filling in over Christmas. Super excited about this and reconnecting with a lot of the callers and listeners! I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas and let’s hope that 2021 is a great year. I think Covid has made 2020 a year that we’d rather all forget and move on from. Let’s make 2021 a big one!
Welcome back Dean,
This might be the best thing thats happened in 2020. I am listening to the show and if I’m honest I would have to say it gives just as much pleasure listening to urs as it did listening to lawsy growing up. The voice of reason has returned and for that I am really happy. You have returned for a reason. When you take away someone’s opinion because you don’t agree , as happened to you because of the left wing hypocrites then people will stop listening as I did. Now ur back , and I am sure many listeners will return. May this be a lesson for management going forward.
Great work dean
This world revolves around the time. Without it we have chaos.
Plenty of people, like myself, rely on it to ensure that we’re back on the job in time to keep every thing rolling smoothly.
For me, and for many like me, the radio is the outlet that ensures my sanity remains intact while I’m half way through a sandwich stained in the oil on my hands at 3am. Or for that matter, 3pm.
Your always saying how the Pollies live in a separate world to us. A simple denied request like yours to not give time updated tells me you can’t relate to my world whilst sitting on your chair, in your clean office raving on about your computer expertise.
At the third stroke… Actually, no I had best not comment on your sex life. None of my business. Get a clock. Get a life!
Hi Dean, very refreshing to hear your points of view. Goldie would be horrified to know what a ‘left wing ‘ political station his studio has become. They talk labor politics all day. To think he nurtured Justin into that job and now hes reverted to Marcus Pauls left leaning politics.
I, like Thomas’ comment, would return to listening if you were on more often.
Please continue
I cannot believe you are back!!!!What happened so common sense prevailed in the end!!!How fantastic to have you back will definitely tune in now
I agree with Thomas’ comment above, well said.
Its fabulous time to celebrate
We miss you on 2SM please come back soon Dean!
Hooray Dean I’m so pleased that u r back.
I’m pretty slow in responding to these on here. Many apologies! Thank you for your kind words, Pamela! 😉

So happy you are back where you belong even though for now it may be for a brief period.
Just wish I could listen to you when I am in Brisbane.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
